We are making some positive changes to CIN — The CIO Information Network — that should result in a more active and vibrant online community of CIOs, IT directors and other enterprise IT execs, and managers.
One shift has already occurred: CIN’s articles and columns no longer require a membership sign-on to access and read. Instead, all editorial content is open for reading by all levels of IT executives and managers.
If you don’t already subscribe to the weekly CIO Update newsletter, which ships Tuesdays and provides links to the week’s top news, opinion and information for IT executives appearing on CIN, you can sign up using the box at the top of the CIN home page.
We’ve also launched, this week, a new and improved CIN discussion area with easier-to-use message-board software. These forums, also open to all levels of IT management, are your best place to ask peers your pressing IT management questions, share info on security, hardware, software and career concerns, and offer opinions on the latest industry trends or news.
