Carly Fiorina Wades into Outsourcing Crossfire

With outsourcing of IT services seeming to accelerate, the mood in the country is starting to turn ugly on the matter. Democratic presidential candidates are speaking out against it, and a number of America-first type groups have sprung up to attack the practice.

Into that battlefield comes, Carly Fiorina, HP’s CEO, with a Wall Street Journal opinion piece today. She argues that the country should stop blaming outsourcing for economic problems and turn its attention to the problem of innovation.

“America is the most innovative country on earth. It won’t stay that way if we run away from the reality of the global economy,” she writes.
