Four Heavyweights Band Together

Working individually or in combination, FileNet ‘Compliance Alliance’ partners intend to build and market enterprise compliance management solutions based on FileNet’s enterprise content management technology, the four enterprise solutions providers announced today.

The alliance combines services and products that will enable customers to deploy solutions to control enterprise content and business processes, providing enterprise scalability, domain expertise, and systems and storage capabilities.

“In this time of intensified scrutiny and constantly changing regulations, the market demands strict regulatory compliance with governmental and industry regulations,” Lee Roberts, chairman and CEO, said in a statement. “Each company in the FileNet Compliance Alliance initiative brings distinct skills to address these needs.”

Current members of the alliance include FileNet, a provider of enterprise content management solutions; BearingPoint, one of the world’s largest business consulting and systems integration (SI) firms; Network Appliance, a provider of enterprise network storage solutions; and enterprise software and hardware vendor Sun.

“Complying with today’s myriad of federal regulations, SEC mandates and numerous state and local acts requires a flexible, quickly adaptable IT environment,” Mark Tolliver, Sun’s executive vice president, Marketing, and chief strategy officer, said in a statement. “FileNet’s Compliance Framework … assures customers that their IT infrastructure can keep up with current regulatory requirements.”
