It seems Vasters is all about the need to make a living while many of the comments come from those in the trenches who already are making living at companies that combine the best of both worlds. Some companies are making money by selling services and support around open-source solutions while others are using open-source tools to integrate proprietary purchases behind the scenes.
Still others just want to get their two-cents in but this Blog does get beyond the formal, boardroom-level arguments to provide insights from the people open source effects on a daily basis.
